How do you record documents like your living trust or a grant deed with the county of San Bernardino County’s Assessor County Clerks Office?

This is one of the services we provide here at Wet Ink Notary LLC. We pick up your documents and notarize them in front of you at your home or business, then personally have them recorded on your behalf with the San Bernardino Assessor Recorder County Clerk’s office

When it comes to having documents recorded it, it is essentional that a notary public acknowledge the signatures correctly, having the names on the document “caption” matching the names on the acknowledgement form.

Chris Wilhite is the current Assessor – Recorder County Clerk for San Bernardino.

You can of couse head down to the San Bernardino County Clerks office yourself and have your documents recorded. For a list of the complete fee schedule please see visit the county website here.

San Bernadino County Document Recording

The California State Law does require someone who is buying a home or “real property” to record what is called a “Preliminary Change of Ownership Report” along with the recording of the files resulting in a change in ownership of real property.

Per the San Bernardino County Assessor Recorder Clerk’s Office. If the form is not filed, the recorder will charge an additional fee of $20.
